My name is Angie, and I’m Director of Cultural Transformation for the rural division of Signature HealthCare. In long-term care, an environment often filled with sadness and loneliness, it’s no secret that culture change is needed. It is my vision to bring about that culture change by creating a world of happiness for the Elders who live with us.
Our Elders spent decades working long hours, raising families, fighting wars and making other contributions to society. For those contributions, I believe they deserve the highest respect. That’s why it’s important to me to be an advocate for Elders’ rights and culture change initiatives. That is also why, after 16 years in long-term care, I am passionate as ever about my work. I am also a Certified Eden Educator and am proud to promote the 10 principles of the Eden Alternative as a staple of life in the 30 homes I serve.
For fun, I enjoy reading, art and spending time with my 14-year-old daughter.
