Rockcastle honors residents with Hall of Fame celebration

Rockcastle Health & Rehab recently celebrated our annual Hall Of Fame on July 26, 2012.

We honored four World War II veterans: Clyde Grimes, Clarence Jackson, Everett Owens, and Robert McMillan. All of these gentlemen served abroad and fought bravely for our country, fighting in areas such as Japan, Australia, New Guinea and in the Battle of Hiroshima. (To read more about the honorees, click HERE.)

We honored Carolyn Halcomb, a dedicated employee of 35 years here at our facility. We also honored a couple of our volunteers, Colson and Linda Wilson, for their continued dedication to our facility.

The event went very well with our special guest speaker, Mayor Mike Bryant of Mt. Vernon, and the debut of the Brodhead Sonshine Choir, made up of our very own residents. The American Legion Post 18 out of Stanford, KY performed the Color Guard Program to honor our veterans and their families.
