My Dad recently told me of a man who had lost his son down in Mexico. He searched for him for months but was not able to locate him. Prior to his son leaving, Juan and his father had an argument because of something that Juan had done to go against his father’s wishes As a last resort, his father put an ad in the local paper stating this simple phrase. “Juan; this is your father; ALL is forgiven. Please meet me in front of city hall on Thursday at noon.” It was reported that over 5,000 men showed up at noon in response to that ad.
Every day we come in contact with people seeking after one thing, forgiveness. God is the perfect example of unconditional love and forgiveness and only asks of us in return to share that love with others. If you have someone in your life today that you have been unable to forgive, seek them out today and show them the same unconditional love that God has shown to you.
