Teamwork

Sacred Six- Teamwork Message
Teamwork

My favorite example of teamwork is an orchestra. There are multiple musical instruments, that by themselves are not necessarily pleasant, but when place with others, can take you to moments of relaxation, passion and fear. The squeaky clarinet of a grade school student, or the screeching strings of a violin, when practiced enough and joined with others can take a single melody to a dramatic crescendo. Movie theaters, orchestra halls, churches, etc. are filled with harmonic measures that were once in the unheard atmosphere but now, because of an orchestra, will be in the auditory history that records time and places.

We need each other. Every part of our team is important. Dietary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Clinical, Administrative, Therapy, Volunteers… You are the wheels that make our homes run. Our elders depend on each of us and our ability to join together. We are all more effective when we are willing to join forces with others to build a team. Sports, manual labor, music scores, cooking ingredients, medical providers… we all perform better in an atmosphere of harmony and teamwork. Go Team!

Ecclesiastes 4:9 ESV
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, …
