Signature Celebrates ‘Spring Break Day’ Event

On April 19, Signature facilities celebrated the annual companywide ‘Spring Break Day’ event. The goal of the event is simply to get residents out of the buildings, active and having fun. ‘Spring Break Day’ also ties to Signature’s Guiding Principles

Check out what some of the buildings below did with their residents…

SHC of Harbour Pointe had an 80’s themed BBQ. Residents enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ Chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, potato chips, soda and of course popsicles. The weather was warm so to cool off there were squirt guns and wading pools. Good music was played and everyone had a blast. – Jennifer A. Kintyhtt, Quality of Life Director

SHC of Hart County had a fantastic day. We spent all day outside. Lunch, games, crafts, music and dancing and water balloon fights were just some of the things we enjoyed. Our theme was Cruising the Caribbean. We had a ship wheel photo prop and a Jaws photo booth set up for fun pictures. – Leslie Roten Quality of Life Director

SHC of Bowling Green staff and 12 of our residents went to the park for the day. Residents played horse shoes, trivia and had a cookout. Some of the residents ate three hotdogs! It turned out to be a beautiful and pleasant day. One of our volunteers and a staff member went to McDonald’s and got all the residents ice cream too! – Sue Shepherd Quality of Life Director

Nashville Community Care & Rehabilitation at Bordeaux had a great day! Lots of games, food, good music, firemen, prizes, a photo booth and a petting zoo! – Dana Galuten, Quality of Life Director
