Every once in a while you see a story that reminds us of the preciousness of each and every one of us here on Earth. The following is one of those stories; it is also one which reminds us of the importance of medical screenings – not only for ourselves but for those who love us as well.
Introduced by Angela R, it is an email from Lisa L in Donelson, TN:
I wanted to share the email I received from Lisa Lynch of Donelson Place. This message below delivers the commitment of Lisa and the importance of the breast cancer awareness programs. BMG was truly touched by Lisa and her staff and will also participate in the moment of silence in honor of their stakeholder.
Signature HealthCARE is truly committed to the importance of health and wellness by providing life impacting wellness programs for their stakeholders. The mobile mammogram coach is there today and the facility is packed with pink!
We have 18 appointments scheduled for tomorrow and a waiting list of five. Having the mammography unit come to our facility is one of the most valued benefits we offer and we always have a large participation rate.
The program this year increases emotion to our Stakeholders. My hands tremble, my heart hurts, and my eyes fill with tears as I type this message. We are dedicating tomorrow’s program to a stakeholder who was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year and passed in June. The
stakeholder began her employment with Signature in 2009. She was an excellent team member and very dear to all who knew her. She fought her battle with faith and was a true champion.
I am sharing this message with you so you know how important this program is to us. We will have a moment of silence in the morning at 9:30 and we plan to wear pink. Please add a special prayer for those who participate in our program tomorrow.
