“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:10
As humans, while one makes a difference, two can accomplish much! I was reminded of this yesterday as I met with my Chaplain Advisory Team at North Florida. Our team is very diverse: Our Quality of Life Director, a volunteer pastor and his wife, a Covenant Hospice volunteer, and yours truly. Our topics were just as diverse: Easter Services, Family Day,
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, fund raisers for resident activities, and the possibility of an Antique/Hot Rod Car Show at North Florida. As we prayed together, thought out loud together, and brainstormed together, I was amazed at the UNITY in the midst of DIVERSITY on this awesome team.
Beautiful Lord, thank you for partnerships in life, and especially the partnerships of our Stakeholders and Volunteers. Remind us God that “…a threefold cord is not easily unraveled.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12) Thank you for being the Third Cord that is wrapped around
our TEAMWORK at Signature HealthCare. In Your name, AMEN!
Chaplain Tim Hill,
